The Real Estate Services (RES) Project Analyst manages overall cost controls for all domestic retail related projects. This position supports the RES Project Managers to ensure that all project financial information is accurately accounted for, tracked and reported to RES Management.


The RES Project Manager is responsible for ensuring cost control policies and procedures are being followed and adhered to at the project level. Specific tasks include obtaining authorized contracts, ensuring Project Owners have reviewed budgets, overseeing bidding procedures and monitoring vendor insurance requirements. Additional responsibilities include managing all facets of financial transactions for all domestic capital projects, such as coordination of budgets, change orders, scope changes, purchase orders and contracts. The RES Project Manager will also prepare reconciliations, as well as weekly, monthly and year-end project financial reports for RES Management.

REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

BS/BA in Business Administration with a Finance or Accounting concentration and/or equivalent relevant work experience.

Experienced user of all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication (both written and verbal), analytical and organizational skills.

Must be motivated and a self-starter.

Ability to work efffectively in a cross-fuctional team setting.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of JD Edwards and Constructware project management software.

Prior exposure to construction cost control and fixed asset accounting.
