Project Accountant-Permanent-Danville, CA

We are seeking a Project Accountant for a successful building & development company in Danville, CA. This position requires an Accounting Degree and at least three years experience in construction related accounts payable or project accounting. Qualified candidates must possess knowledge of lien waivers, preliminary notices, insurance, and basic Excel. Primary responsibilities include preparation of project budgets and cash flows, processing accounts payable invoices, maintain general ledger for assigned projects, prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow projections, file Builders Exclusions, assist in audit / tax preparation, process loan draws, prepare checks, maintain contracts, change orders, and purchase orders, reconcile bank statement, track all necessary insurance certificates and lien waivers. This position also requires occasional travel to bank, job site, and/or contractor’s office and ability to lift and or move up to twenty-five pounds.
