Product QA Lead - Financial Applications

Known as employers of choice for innovative human resources programs, they are dedicated to helping their clients and people excel.The Functional QA lead is responsible for ensuring that all product channel applications and technology solutions are thoroughly tested, according to ITS/QPA quality standards and industry best practices before being released into a production environment.   In addition to functional subject matter expert (SME), projects management and supervisory responsibilities, the QA lead contributes to the success of
product channel projects, and assumes a lead role on key QA process methodologies, and initiatives as assigned by the QPA leadership.
 
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Align with Functional/Product Leadership Goals
- Lead QA testing for ALL the applications in within the functional area
- Manage QA analysts within the functional area for QA testing and approval process
- Coordinate and Communicate the QA activities (both functional & performance),  with QPA cross-functional and project teams
- Involve in Planning, Project Management, Resource Utilization, Automation, and QA metrics.
- Responsible for estimating the QA testing efforts for various projects and new initiatives.
- Responsible for QA project status reporting to QA, development and project management
- Works with project team in the identification and proactive resolution of risks and issues
- Verify the quality of all QA
deliverables and service levels
KEY FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- SAP functional experience with the GL, AR and Procurement applications is required.
- Understanding SAP B/W, DTE, Customer, Project and Billing and Payroll is required. - Bachelors of Science or equivalent in science/engineering or any related  discipline
- 3+ years of experience or exposure in the above product area
- 10+ years of experience working in a IT, QA testing and software development environment supporting multiple projects
- Background in technologies including:  OOD/OOA, C#, ASP/ASP.NET, .NET Framework, COM/DCOM/COM+, SOA and Web Services, ADO/ADO.NET., SQL/T-SQL, Active Directory, SAP/MSFT integration, UML. Familiarity with SAP and .Net connector a plus.
- Experience with test plan creation, automated test scripting, and load/stress testing.  Experience with the Mercury suite of testing tools.
- Demonstrated ability in applying repeatable quality assurance
processes and methods to enterprise wide technology projects or initiatives. 
- Excellent written and verbal communications, organization, planning and leadership skills.  
- Strong management, communication,  technical and remote collaboration skill are a must
- Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams, and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization environment
