Procurement Project Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt

Seeking a Black Belt project manager to identify and lead continuous process improvement initiatives that will ensure best in class performance of Pitney Bowes' procurement processes and solutions. Leads cross-functional project team(s) responsible for timely delivery of business outcomes and tollgate deliverables. Champions project management disciplines and the use of Six Sigma tools to achieve outcomes across the organization.



Accountabilities

* Design, develop and implement a global capability to measure and report operational efficiency and effectiveness metrics and participate in industry benchmarking activities.

* Enable Enterprise Procurement professionals and internal customers with actionable intelligence for use in establishing strategic goals and measuring performance against targets.

* Collaborate with the internal controls group to monitor scorecard performance and charter and lead six sigma green belt and black belt DMAIC projects to address out of control processes.

* Leading cross-functional teams through projects while ensuring that processes, technologies, and resources are aligned with business strategies.

* Develop business case justifications and implementation plans for new procurement processes and solutions that require resources and technology to implement locally or globally.

* Document and deliver detailed business requirements for new and existing procurement applications to the internal solutions group.

* Design and deliver Process Control Systems, as required, to the internal compliance group for monitoring of implemented business processes.

* Assist in the chartering of Six Sigma green belt projects and mentor green belts through DMAIC and DMEDI phases.

* Lead work group in optimizing processes and information systems based upon business requirements, performance goals, and strategic objectives.

REQUIREMENTS


Business Experience / Educational Background

* Black belt certification or pending black belt certification required

* Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred

* Sourcing/procurement experience and knowledge preferred

* Business process design experience required

* Project management experience required

* Relational database/data warehouse experience preferred

* Business finance acumen preferred

* Effective time management and organizational skills

* Strong interpersonal and communication ability

* Ability to self-start and independently solve problems

* Demonstrated analytical and execution skills
