Procurement Agent

Volt Technical Resources is seeking a Procurement Agent to work on assignment at one of the largest Aerospace companies in the Northwest!
JOB DUTIES:
Conducts and manages the processes for obtaining goods and services for the company.
Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
Manages supplier performance and ensures satisfactory contract completion and closure. Develops and integrates requirements, develops requests for quotations and proposals, analyzes supplier responses, negotiates and awards contracts, and manages post award supplier activities.
Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers.


Requirements:

JOB SKILLS:
Must have extensive negotiations and contracts administration experience as well as, exceptional proficiency in the use of MS office tools including word, power point and excel.
EXPERIENCE IN ESTABLISHING LONG TERM AGREEMENTS FOR SERVICES.
Prefer a bachelor's degree and 6 to 9 years' related work experience or a master's degree and 4 to 7 years' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
