Principal Financial Analyst

Conducts studies and analyses of the New Nuclear’s most complex financial matters employing a thorough understanding of corporate finance, cash management, and financial planning approaches, statistical methods and computer applications. Evaluates financial data and prepares reports and presentations. Develops or modifies financial systems and corporate models related to budgets, financing options, forecasts, cash management or rates. Evaluates and coordinates the implementation of new financing and strategic business opportunities. Prepares short- and long-term cash forecasts and financial plans. Manages the monthly reporting process: collects results and provides key analytics and summaries for management reports. Manages the business planning and budgeting process. Performs cost control, forecasting and financial reporting for multiple projects and legal entities. Provides support and oversight in the determination and adherence of O&M vs. capital expenditures. Provides direction and guidance to lower level staff. Reports To:

UniStarMinimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and 3-5 years of related financial work experience. MBA or CPA preferred. Strong Analytical skills: Ability to clearly link financial results to operational drivers and independently determine proper methodology & approach to specific analyses. Strong Communicator: Effective & persuasive both orally and in writing. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, OutlookSoft, Oracle and Business Objects. Ability to simultaneously manage several requirements. Very strong organizational skills & attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
