Principal Accountant

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $100000 to $110000 per year Manufacturer and marketer of medical devices is seeking a Principal Accountant for its Fremont facility. This unique, newly-created position will serve as a staff position supporting the operational accounting group. The primary purpose of this position is to have an impact and make a difference! This position will manage the Sarbanes Oxley requirements and other Accounting processes and projects. Responsibilities include:
• Provide analysis on balance sheet variances.• Improve and support the close processes.
• Interact with all levels of management and all functional areas.• Perform financial analysis including IRR/NPV to support major capital expenditures.• Good communication skills and attention to detail.• Evaluate and fix root problems by working cross-functionally to determine current practice, create and implement solutions.
