Over 2,000 associates in Private Client Services provide advice, strategies and solutions for all aspects of the financial, asset management and wealth transfer needs of JPMorgan's high net worth clients. Our target client segment is $1 - 25M in net worth. Private Client Services' client support includes Investments, Financial Planning, Portfolio Management, Private Banking and Trust.



About the opportunity:

The Portfolio Manager II develops, recommends, and directs execution of investment programs designed to achieve the objectives of a group of client accounts. Manages a group of medium to large size investment sensitive accounts and relationships. Acts independently within established investment policy guidelines. Works closely with Advisors and clients in communicating investment ideas and strategies. Often provides leadership and mentoring. In addition, will interact effectively and share investment perspectives and ideas with other portfolio managers. Will participate in new client and existing client presentations, as appropriate. REQUIREMENTS


Excellent communication and presentation skills that have been applied in an investment management setting

A strong team orientation and a desire and the ability to work collaboratively with front office advisors, other portfolio managers and research analysts

Experience as a Portfolio Manager who has handled investment portfolios for at least 3 years.

Strong client focus

Knowledge of and investment experience in a broad range of industries

Comfortable working in an environment where the sharing of ideas and perspectives is valued

Possessing strong initiative

Ability to handle sensitive information

Willingness to multi-task and work on multiple assignments simultaneously

Experience as a research analyst a positive

Bachelors degree required/Advanced degree preferred (a CFA is desirable)
