Portfolio Manager: Commercial Real Estate Debt Credits
The firm has an immediate opening for a full time Portfolio Manager in the Dallas office to cover the Commercial Real Estate Debt Credits. This includes the following sectors: CMBS, B-Notes, Mezzanine Debt, and other whole loan commercial real estate debt. Ideal candidate will be task oriented, pay close attention to detail, and a team player.
Key Responsibilities:
• Portfolio management and asset evaluation
• Fundamental analysis, modeling, and sensitizing/testing potential investments
• Make specific investment recommendations and buy/sell decisions
• Involvement with all aspects of the portfolio process
• Interaction with Wall Street brokers/banker/analysts and industry experts
• Ability to work an average of 60 hours per week

Corporate Headquarters located in Dallas, TX.

REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills:
• 6-10 years of work experience in corporate finance, treasury, investment or corporate banking
• Prior analysis/coverage of CMBS, B-Notes, Mezzanine debt, Whole loans
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Superior work ethic and professional habits
• Strong MS Office and computer skills
Education:
• BBA/BS required in Finance, Economics, or other analytical major from a top-tier school
• MBA and/or professional certifications (CFA, CPA, CMA, etc.) are strongly desired
