Plant Accounting Mananger

Compensation:
There is assistance available for relocation.The successful candidate in this highly visible, hands-on position will report directly to the Plant Operations Manager with dotted line reporting to our Corporate Accounting Department. Oversee month-end plant closings, review plant reports for accuracy and completeness, compile budgets and reports covering daily manufacturing operations. Analyze financial information; prepare financial reports; maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss; tax liability; oversee, edit and post accounts payable and receivables; generate credit memos, journal entries; inventory adjustments and account and inventory reconciliations. Major reports include inventory reports, monthly forecasts, monthly closings, quarterly forecasts and an annual operating plan. Minimal travel is required.

REQUIREMENTS
Travel Percentage: 0%The successful candidate will possess 5+ years of Manufacturing Accounting experience in a high volume, fast paced, manufacturing environment and strong supervisory/personnel skills for application in a plant environment. Must work cooperatively with a corporate staff. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in the areas of General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Inventory Control, Variance Analysis and Data Processing. A college degree in Accounting is required, along with demonstrated computer experience in AS400, Cognos, Excel, Access and Word.
