Peoplesoft Functional Financial Support

Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and recording Domestic/Corporate Fixed Asset/PPE information while applying appropriate accounting principles and auditing standards to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial data. Also responsible for analyzing, preparing and providing support for financial results and schedules, including researching responses to audit questions.

· Review capital additions to ensure compliance with capitalization guidelines.

· Design, create, and maintain reports and coordinate the preparation and distribution of fixed assets/PPE reporting.

· Ensure controls are in place for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley. Test controls as required.

· Manage relationships with business partners to provide accounting guidance and recommendations.

· Prepare documents for External auditors related to Fixed Asset accounting.

· Assist in the preparation of budgets.

· Document problem areas and develop/implement solutions
REQUIREMENTS


Knowledge of capitalization guidelines, Fixed Asset accounting, and GAAP

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

3 — 5 years of progressively more responsible accounting or finance experience
