PeopleSoft Financials Developer

Purpose: Our client, a leader in the financial industry, is looking for a Senior level PeopleSoft Financial Developer to join a rapidly growing team. The Senior Developer will be responsible for leading projects and project teams, mentoring junior developers and contributing to best practices.

This Senior Developer position requires the design, coding, and testing of software projects, with a special focus on the underlying architecture of systems and integration between them.

On a daily basis, you will be responsible for -
- Working with Development Manager and business owners to refine and clarify project requirements.
- Working with Development Managers to help manage projects and systems.
- Providing team leadership and proactively seek out areas for improvement.
- Producing detailed design specifications from project requirements.
- Coding projects using existing design standards and within accepted defect rate based on specification documents.
- Helping gather and providing input to assist in overall team process improvement and product design stability.

Qualified candidates will have the following:
- Extensive PeopleSoft Financials application knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Development Tools. PeopleTools, Application Engine, Component interface, Integration Broker, PeopleCode, SQR, Crystals & nVision.
- In-depth knowledge of RDBMS and strong SQL skills.
- Active role in at least two PeopleSoft Financials implementation.
- Exposure to Code Management/Change control management procedures.
