We have two open staff positions. One is for a PeopleSoft Financials Support Analyst and the other is for a PeopleSoft Financial Developer.
The work location is New York City.

Position #1: Application Support Analyst for PeopleSoft Financials Environment

We are seeking a Financial Application Support Analyst for PeopleSoft Financials Systems v8.8.

This application is used across North America. The PeopleSoft v8.8 modules currently in production are: General Ledger, Asset Management, Accounts Payable, Purchase Order, Project Costing, Contracts, Billing, Accounts Receivable and Expenses (including Time).

The Application Support Analyst will serve both functional and technical roles in our support model and is charged with a major understanding of the business processes. The Support Analyst is the primary customer interface for our PeopleSoft Financials application support. This is a full time position. There also will be required on-call support activities and off-hour responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:
• Log all incoming questions, issues or concerns from internal
customers into helpdesk tracking software.
• Research, resolve, and respond to incoming questions, issues or
concerns in a timely manner.
• Evaluate and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal
resource in a timely and efficient manner and follow-through to the
conclusion.
• Document standard procedures and resolutions to frequently
recurring problems in order to build a library

Requirements:
• 2 year financial degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience in application support for a large ERP
environment running PeopleSoft Enterprise v8.0 or higher.
• Preferred experience providing support for PeopleSoft Financials
8.8 environment working with the PeopleSoft modules currently in
Production.
• Candidate must express an aptitude for application problem solving
and a solid work ethic and must be customer focused and the
ultimate team player having direct contact with internal customers
and staff.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Work well under pressure.
• Possess strong people skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office XP (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Other Desired Qualifications:
• Advertising Agency or Professional Services experience.
• Helpdesk tracking software experience.
• Lotus Notes experience.
• Experience with Windows 2000, Windows XP and Mac OSX a plus.

Position #2: Senior Application Developer for PeopleSoft Financials Environment
Hire Date: ASAP
Salary: Commensurate with Experience

We are seeking an Application Developer for PeopleSoft’s Financials (FMS), Supply Chain (SCM) and Enterprise Services Automation (ESA) Application Suites version 8.8 to work in our New York office. The candidate must have a solid work ethic and express a strong desire for application design in a team environment. The Application Developer role is technically demanding and offers a creative minded thinker the opportunity to join a team that is focused on building better business processes. The candidate must be experienced in all stages of the software development life cycle: Requirements, Design, Development, Construction, Testing and Implementation. Some primary functional responsibilities of the Application Developer are to further develop the architectural specifications for the environment according to the design blueprint, provide quality assurance checks on the application and support the implementation process.

REQUIRED:
• 5+ years experience designing and developing solutions including 3
Full Life Cycle Project on PeopleSoft version 8.x
• 6+ years application and report development experience
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• PeopleSoft development skills; PeopleTools, SQR, PeopleCode, PS
Query, Application Designer, Application Engine, Data Mover,
Integration Broker/Application Messaging, Security,
• Implementing of Service Packs, Maintenance Releases,Bundles/Patches
• Experience within a software development team implementing projects
that utilize PeopleSoft FMS, SCM, ESA and relational database
technologies
• Work with business teams to clarify requirements and business needs
• Collaborate with other developers to determine optimal solution
architecture, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability
• Participate in the development of detailed design specifications
• Develop detailed estimates for projects, including resource
allocation and timelines
• Experience with various PeopleSoft Report Development tools
including: nVision, Crystal Reports, SQL, and Query.
• Effectively manage and conduct deployment of new or updated reports
as scheduled
• Carefully manage, conduct & document deployment of new/updated code
• This position is responsible for analyzing specific report
requests, gathering business requirements, identifying source data,
implementing, developing, testing and deploying reports
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities

PREFERRED:
• Strong ERP application-level development skills and solid
experience in financial report development
• One Upgrade lifecycle with customization
• Technical writing skills for the development of detailed report z
