Payroll Tax Specialist/Manager Position Summary:
The role of Payroll Tax Specialist or Manager environment for Advantec is high volume payroll tax processing. Advantec is a multi entity consolidated group operating in all 50 states so multi state payroll tax experience is required.
REQUIREMENTS
The following experience will be necessary for the best fit for our Advantec Payroll Tax Specialist or Manager position:

- Federal compliance -- 941, 940, W-2 and all other payroll tax compliance

- SUTA tax compliance and management -- register to obtain state ID#s and file returns

- Research and resolve client payroll/PEO tax issues

- Relationship with independent CPAs -- regarding quarterly agreed upon procedures and related report

- State Registration -- state withholding taxes and authority to do business

- State Licensing -- comply with state PEO licensing requirements and monitor ongoing requirements

- Penalties and interest -- address any IRS or other state penalty and interest letters

- Decisions regarding payroll and corporate tax subscriptions/research service

- Degree Preferred, CPA a plus, with minimum of 2 years work experience working with filed 941s and state unemployment tax filings.

- Payroll Company or PEO experience preferable along with the ability to work with limited supervision, attention to detail and professional communication skills.

- Experience with Master Tax and TALX systems preferred.

- Experienced dealing with Compliance with State and Federal tax authorities and State Licensing Boards.
