Position Title:Payroll Tax Specialist

Department:Payroll

Responsibilities:

•Assures timely and accurate reporting of payroll taxes and returns.
•Research, create, and file magnetic media and E-Files of quarterly and annual information.
•Performs quarterly and year-end processing including producing and distributing employee annual wage statements.
•Researches complaints/problems of varying complexity from employees and provides timely and effective resolution to identified problems and issues (reports and payments that do not balance, incorrect W-2’s, etc.).
•Electronically files monthly (CES) and quarterly Multiple Worksite reporting.
Job Requirements
Requirements:

•Minimum of 1 year experience in payroll tax accounting and reporting.
•Knowledge of federal, state and local payroll tax regulations.
•Knowledgeable about pay policies and procedures: payroll accounting principles and company account practices.
•General knowledge of MS Office products, with advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database functionality.
•Detail oriented.
•Excellent communication skills.
