Payroll Processing Analyst

Provide problem (SR) resolution support
Â*Assist team leaders with complex payroll issue
Â*Enter time and other pay data into payroll
Â*Set up garnishment and other mandated attachments
Â*Analyze gross to net calculations for accuracy including tax withholding calculations
Â*Review payroll error reports and defensive queries
Â*Calculate workups for overpayments and retroactive pay
Â*Process manual (off cycle) payments, reversals and adjustments

Work Hours: Some overtime required
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Required:
Â*Basic knowledge of payroll and related HR subject matter
Â*Basic understanding of payroll accounting
Familiar with benefit deductions and impact on payroll process
Â*Basic understanding of internal controls
Â*Strong attention to detail and execution
Â*Excellent customer service skills
Â*Strong verbal & written communication skills
Â*Ability to document procedures and follow instructions

Desired:
Â*MicroSoft Office and/or Lotus Notes
Â*Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent professional level work experience
Â*1 to 3 years payroll experience
