Payroll Lead

If you are results driven, career oriented, friendly, and outgoing and can maintain a collaborative approach this is the opportunity for you.The Payroll Lead will be responsible to support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services and information to employees.
Duties and Responsibilities
Process payroll for multiple locations; responsible for ensuring quality and accuracy of the payroll in their assigned region or area
Provide support for payroll processing including:
Timecard data entry, calculating hours, preparing adjustments, reimbursements, refunds and void checks
Preparing manual checks and calculating vacation, PTO and sick pay.
Audit all payroll data entry and reports.
Supply information for ACH-file, positive pay, garnishments, and 401K.Process employee requests for direct deposits, stop payments, provide Copies of W-4, W-2’s, and Pay Stubs. Assist with the printing of W2s at year-end.
Prepare checks for distribution to districts for pick ups, by truck and overnight mail
REQUIREMENTS
Education Required: High School degreeCertification Required: N/A
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:1-3 years experience in payroll processing
Computer skills and Microsoft Excel proficiency required.Mathematical ability and aptitude for performing calculations.
