Payroll & Benefits Administrator

Logical Choice Technologies is a Georgia-based, certified woman-owned, small business that provides IT solutions, products and services exclusively to the public sector market. We are currently experiencing rapid growth in the national arena that is propelled by a new line of products based on the Promethean ActivBoard and Model Classroom solution. As a result we have a need for an experienced, motivated Payroll and Benefits Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain payroll system, including time and labor
Prepare a variety of reports relating to payroll, benefits and other HR transactions
Assist in maintaining personnel files
Perform payroll journal entries
Process and maintain all Workers’ Compensation claims
Lead open enrollment process
Assist employees with questions relating to benefits and payroll
Process status changes including new enrollment, changes, terminations and COBRA notification to vendors
Premium deductions
Process and reconcile monthly benefit bills
Process new hire paperwork and assist in orientation
Other duties as needed or assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications include:

3+ years experience in payroll and benefit administration
Microsoft Office savvy
Experience with HR/Payroll software and automated time and attendance system
Must be accurate and detail-oriented
Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines
Maintain confidentiality
Maintain pleasant demeanor when working with employees to resolve issues
Previous experience with E-Chex Payroll processing a plus
