Payroll Assistant

Purpose:
Our client an industry leader in Outsourcing Payroll Services is looking for a Payroll Assistant to become a member of their extensive payroll family.

An individual in this role will assist Payroll Specialists and Supervisors with perform pre-production audit for each pay group prior to release. Processing cycle for each pay group on release day.

Eligible candidates must have a least 1 year experience processing payroll for over 100 employees, preferably in a multi-state environment. Knowledge in the following areas is required verification of payroll batches, payroll reconciliation, and an understanding of direct vs. indirect deposit.

The ideal person for this position will be team player that is customer service friendly, who is able to work with high profile candidates and able to stay cool under fire. Company environment can be very busy and hectic at times, and will require overtime.

Requirements include a stable work history, verified references, and the ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test are required before hire.
