Participant Account Specialist Team Member

FUNCTION/PURPOSEClosely supervised position is responsible for verifying, analyzing and/or correcting participant account balances and data issues related to employer billing. The PAST Team Member will completely and accurately reconcile the daily retroactive and error reports, within the established turnaround times, as assigned. In addition, the team member will analyze participant accounts and perform account adjustments, as needed in order to ensure that account balances accurately reflect contributions and interest to which the participant is entitled.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES•Perform account analysis and adjustments to reflect accurate balances in participant accounts.
•Perform reconciliation of daily retroactive events.
•Correct investment election errors, statement/balance errors, pension supplement errors, social security number errors, and system transaction rejects.
•Work on special projects as assigned.
•Process elections to rescind PDA account and enroll into the Life stage personal Investments.
•Process and maintenance hardship loan repayments, monthly postings, bank debit agreements, amortization schedules, defaults and loan delinquency schedules.
REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS•High School Diploma.•2+ years of experience working in customer service field and/or employee benefits.
•Proficiency in the use of the PC and Microsoft Office applications.PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
•Knowledge of Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, 401 (k) or 403 (b) Pension Plans.
