Part-time Receptionist/Switchboard Operator
Advanced Technology Services (ATS) employees provide professional, comprehensive technical services to an impressive customer base, specializing in fields of information technology and industrial services.
Job Summary: Greets visitors entering the building and facilitates check-in procedures. Answers telephone and directs calls. May provide administrative support. Works independently with infrequent supervision.

Answers telephone and assists callers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner. Responds quickly and professionally to incoming calls, gathers information from caller, determines appropriate destination, and makes smooth transfer to appropriate individual.
Greets visitors as they enter the building and facilitates check-in procedures.
Updates and maintains integrity of current employee information in vax system, Fieldwatch, and on mailing information files.
Operates PBX telephone console to receive incoming messages.
Issues visitor's pass when required.
Performs tasks such as collection and distribution of faxes; typing and distribution of monthly birthday calendars.
Maintains inventory of Service/Quality workbooks; prepares completion certificates for SQ classes.
Participates in bulk mailings and prepares mailing labels as requested. Orders postage stamps.
Assists Human Resources Department with recruiting activities.
Places service calls on office equipment.
Assists with conference room scheduling.
Types memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
Makes future appointments and answer inquiries.
Performs variety of administrative duties and other duties pertinent to type of establishment.

Qualified candidate(s) will possess the following minimum requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Good written, oral and interpersonal communications skills required.
Excellent computer skills required including MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Must be a team player, organized, and self-motivated.
Must be able to prioritize.
Must be able to maintain professional composure at all times in greeting customers entering the building and with callers on the telephone. Must exhibit a professional and positive demeanor.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Candidate must have the ability to work in a fast paced, change-oriented environment.
