Known as employers of choice for innovative human resources programs, they are dedicated to helping their clients and people excel.The Tax Paraprofessional positions function in predominately administrative roles and in direct support of management team providing co-source responsibilities with key clients and includes all elements of federal tax process to support the tax engagement team as follows:
Create and maintain engagement team contact list, e-mail distribution list, & voicemail distribution list;
Maintain (modify/add new)
standard attachments (structures for Sched. O; 351, 332 Statements, First-year elections, etc.)
Prepare Forms 990, 1120, 1065 and others, depreciation calculations and basic book to tax adjustments;
Monitor senior staff tasks and assignments to ensure work load balance and utilization;
Update project tracker based on responses from staff and seniors;
Review timesheets for "outside the scope" work summaries and compare to time listed on project tracker;
Prepare interim billing, including "staged" billing and completed returns;
Coordinate/disseminate any changes to procedures that arise during the engagement and maintain & update operations manual;
Prepare forms for processing and preparing elections/attachments;
and other related tasks as they arise.
Experience with the tax compliance process, undergraduate degree (Associates or Bachelors) & proficiency with Excel spreadsheets required.Deloitte & Touche USA LLP and its subsidiaries ("the Deloitte US Firms") are
