PUBLIC Tax and Audit Accountants NEEDED!*!*!*!*!

Tax Manager sought for multi-state energy corporation. The position was created due to the unprecedented growth recently experienced.


We are seeking someone wiht strong communication and analytical skills. They also are expected to stay up to date with industry and government regulations in regards to taxation issues.


Typical Duties:

1) Reviewing corporate tax returns for completeness and accuracy

2) Assisting with research and planning according to current tax laws, and evaluating the tax impact of current and proposed company activities and transactions

3) Working with the controller on asset depreciation schedules and policies

4) Implementing strategies to minimize corporate tax liability in accordance with current laws

5) Supporting the tax director on tax audits by outside regulatory agencies

6) Hiring, training, and supervising tax staff
REQUIREMENTS


B.S. or B.A. in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred

4+ years of Tax experience in either public accounting or private industry
