The Operations Specialist - Income Collections position is responsible for processing various types on securities related income payments to trust accounts. Functions Include:



Monitor system generated reports to identify securities for which income needs processed in client accounts.

Process payments to client accounts in a timely fashion.

Research cash discrepancies between accounting system, paying agents, depositories and other custodians.

Communicate effectively with clients, peers, management, administrators, investment managers, agents, and depository contacts

Provide coverage for other positions.

Identify process improvements.

Maintain operating procedures.Maintain spreadsheets and databases utilized in production and reporting.
REQUIREMENTS


College degree preferred

Strong computer and software skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

Ability to work effectively under pressure in accordance with deadlines and manage financial risk.

Ability to make rational, quick judgments to problem situations.

Strong attention to detail and effective organizational skills.

Ability to thrive in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Aptitude for analyzing issues and information accurately and provide recommendations for solutions.

1-3 Years securities operations experience preferred.

Proficient in entering data, creating communications, and navigating multiple software applications concurrently in a Windows environment.
