P-RHF-AO-Accounts Receivable Clerk

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $30000 to $35000 per year This position will report to the Regional Credit Manager who has overall responsibility for credit and collections in the Midwest and upper South. This person will assist in approving and maintaining credit accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures in a manner that will result in maximum sales, sound receivables and the prompt conversion of those receivables into cash.Position Responsibilities:

Perform routine credit investigation of new customers.

Carry out the established program of collections and follow-up on past due accounts.

Regularly review the status of collections to assure the accounts receivable are in sound condition.

Analyze and reconcile account discrepancies.

Run all necessary accounts receivable reports when required.

Communicate regularly with sales personnel concerning credit issues with their customers.Position Dimensions:

Strong customer orientation (for both internal and external customers)Other Related Experience Required or Preferred:

Solid skills in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.

SAP experience.Educational and Experience Criteria:

Associates degree in business (or sophomore/junior status as a business major) with 1-2 years experience in the business field, or,

Minimum 3 years of business experience if no college.
