Oracle Developer - Financial Apps

Purpose: DUTIES: - Under minimal supervision, provide programming support for Oracle Financials (E-Business Suite 11i), which is replacing legacy General Ledgers and Sub-Ledgers (All Fin Apps, AP, Cash, AR etc)
-Responsible for technical support and development associated with the General Ledger migration across the organization using Oracle Financial Applications suite of tools. Go live date is MAY?project has been on going for 3 years now
-Provide Unix technical troubleshooting and support ? a must?.OFA sits on all Solaris boxes
EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS
EDUCATION; College Degree, BS Computer Science
EXPERIENCE; Minimum 5 years technical development experience?preferably with Oracle Financial Applications
SKILLS:
-Oracle PL/SQL packages and scripts, Oracle Forms and Reports, and Oracle Workflow.
-Unix shell and perl scripting, and general Solaris Unix knowledge a MUST.
-Autosys job creation and monitoring ? highly desired (not required ? but similar tools would be good)
-Documentation and diagramming skills (Visio).
-Experience with apache/Oracle web server and/or Oracle Application Server is a plus.
-Prior work with Rational Clearcase, Clearquest (or understanding of) OR PVCS, and SCCS for change control and other development support products is a plus.
-Must have ability to work independently diagnosing issues, writing functional and technical specs which are subject to team review, and following the implementation from development to user testing to production support.
-Must be willing to serve as first and second level support to job streams running around the clock Mon-Fri. Occasional weekend support is required.
-Must be willing to perform end-user support such as fixing/re-installing Oracle client software.Classification:Direct HireCompensation:
