Accenture’s Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.

The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses. Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.

Job Description
•Point person for all production support issues
•Meet regularly with the Business/IT stakeholders to help build relationships
•Work with project leads to understand upcoming implementations and ensure that future support of such implementation has been considered and implemented
•Work with development, testing and production support tools to manage, escalate and resolve support problems according to service level agreements
•Determination of production support priorities, stakeholder escalation for awareness, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive action plan
•Ability to work with majority of team members working offshore.

REQUIREMENTS
Required:

•Oracle 9i SQL and Stored Procedure experience
•At least 3 years development or production support experience
•Strong analytical and debugging skills
•Able to manage priorities with focus on the details

Nice to have:

- Siebel 7.7 - Highly desirable
- Middleware - EAI application understanding
- Experience working with remote team members

Education:

4 year undergraduate degree preferred in computer science, IT, etc.
