Operations Coordinator/Manager RN- Medical/Surgical Ortho Unit

General Summary:

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Nursing Director in the functions of leadership: role modeling, daily operation of the unit, human resource issues and other management functions as needed. Affiliation and active participation with speciality national organization is preferred.

This RN must meet the requirements of the Operations Coordinator/Manager job description and display an outstanding level of professionalism and must practice in accordance with Hospital Policy, Maryland Practice Act, ANA Standards of Care and unit / departmental standards.

REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a current MD RN license and current BLS/CPR certification. Requires min. 3-5 years current acute care MedSurg Orthopaedic nursing experience and Medical/Surgical Certification is pref. Previous experience with Ortho patients is preferred. Previous Charge RN experienced required.
The Operations Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Medical Surgical Services at SGAH.
