One GE Finance Leader

Business Unit: GE CorporateFunction: FinanceResponsibilities: * One GE IT Infrastructure is a vision being driven by GE's CTO/ CIO. The goal is to consolidate GE's $1.5 Bn IT infrastructure operations under GE Corporate over a period of 2-3 years. The initiative should drive $200MM savings to GE Work as part of Matrix (Cross business/ cross functional team) to transition services/ functions into GE Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) Establish a solid project plan with operations and business CFO/Controllers to integrate operations/finance processes, ensuring compliance with statutory accounting and tax regulations Set up a plan with businesses and controllers to integrate IT assets into Corporate. Ensure a smooth transition and B/S accuracy Coordinate with Corporate functions to set up business users in Payroll, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Fixed Assets & Inter company billing systems Define Monthly Closing calendar/ Reporting schedule based on Business Unit/ Corporate requirements Lead SII/ OP sessions for Completed Integrations Monitor/ scorecard performance for each integration. Build reports for Corporate & Business IT leadership to explain performance trends and monitor synergies
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business and minimum 7+ years in accounting and financial analysis Proven leadership and interpersonal skills will interact with Business Unit Finance/IT Leaders Effective Communication skills: oral, written and presentation Excellent Analytical and Business Problem Solving Skills Leadership, matrix management skills. Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications Strong project management skills Strong critical thinking and strategic Experienced in international statutory accounting Familiar with US and GE GAAPDesired: * MBA/CAS GE FMP Graduate Motivated Self Starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong customer focus; independent thinker; strong results orientation Strong work ethic and commitment.
