Office Assistant

Steak n Shake is currently accepting applications for an Office Assistant. The ideal person will provide support function for our $75 million dollar Chicago Group Market which encompasses 50 restaurant locations across the state. Responsibilities include coordination of benefits and insurance, worker’s compensation, accounts payable, and liaison role directly with the restaurants. Administrative Support includes assisting 8 District Managers, 4 Training personnel and 50 restaurants. Human Resources & Payroll experience preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
•Strong interpersonal communication and managerial skills needed with a team mentality
•Able to adapt quickly to a fast paced environment
•Must be deadline driven.
•High School diploma, college degree preferred
•2 – 4 years supervisory experience in related field
•Customer service focus
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, and working knowledge of PowerPoint
