Non-Profit Staff Accountant

Classification: Temporary Compensation: $16 to $18 per hour Here's your chance to make some very important contributions! A non-profit organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will utilize the accounting system, spreadsheets, and possibly data base and presentation software. This position will review general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, as well as manage account analysis and reconciliation. Reconciliation may include bank statements and inter-company G/L accounts. This individual will be expected to maintain the general ledger, assign a chart of account numbers, assist in completing closing entries, research and correct account discrepancies, and post accruals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
