Network Controller

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The selected candidate will support the Multi-National Information Sharing Joint Program Office (MNIS-JPO) with customer support and call center operations including, but not limited to, the following:

1.Provide multi-program support of user and administrator requirements
2.Perform call center functions supporting local and remote site administrators/users assisting with the troubleshooting, training, tracking and resolution of issues pursuant to the installation, configuration, management, information assurance and reporting of related software/hardware components.
3.Work closely with the customer, end users, integration and development teams keeping them appraised of status, issues and resolutions. Escalate issues to appropriate channels for continued support, when necessary.
4.Provide daily, weekly and monthly statistical reports to project/program and government management
5.Provide general operations control center and Help Desk support as needed
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred, but not required.


REQUIRED SKILLS:
•Active DSS Secret clearance (or above)
•Ability to work shift work in a 24x7x365 technical environment
•3-5 years experience working with computer hardware, software and peripheral devices and system
administration/configuration.
•Minimum of 1 year experience with industry and government standard encryption devices and systems
•Minimum of 1 year experience with a major trouble ticketing system (REMEDY, TMS, Peregrine Service Center, HEAT or the like).
•Ability to work closely in a team environment, often with time and resource constraints
•Excellent analytical skills
•Above average to excellent communication skills, both oral and written
•Excellent customer service skills
•Proficient in MS Office applications


DESIRED SKILLS:
•Continuing education coursework in the IT field
•IT Trade Certifications (MCSE, MCSA, CNA, CCNA, etc.)
•General understanding of government contract work, particularly DoD
•Military service or prior military employment
