National Account Manager - Off-Premise
OUR COMPANY
FUTURE BRANDS LLC is a $1.3 billion dollar company, formed in 2001, a strategic joint venture between Jim Beam Brands and the Absolut Spirits Company. Overseeing the sale and distribution for the companies’ joint spirits portfolio, FUTURE BRANDS LLC distributes over 160 brands of distilled spirits in the United States, such brands as the #1 imported vodka in America, Absolut Vodka, the world’s #1 bourbon, Jim Beam, the #1 brand of liqueurs in America, DeKuyper, and the #1 new spirits product introduction in 2005, Starbucks Coffee Liqueur.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
•Maximize the annual profit delivery and market share growth from the Account
•Develop a sustainable 3-year Account plan that marries the Retailers strategy with Future brands brand and participation strategy.
•Develop an annual Account plan with the customer that is agreed and owned by both the Retailer and Future Brands.
•Motivate, communicate and develop close working relationship with Future Brands Regional Chain Sales personnel and key Distributor Chain personnel to ensure plans agreed at Chain HQ happen at the outlet level.
•Actively manage the presentation and execution of category plans, brand plans, promotions and new item introductions.
•Monitor account performance on a monthly basis to ensure that objectives are being achieved in accordance with the business strategies.
•Monitor Competitor activity on a monthly basis and develop the appropriate response.
•Study in detail the monthly Nielsen reports. Arrive at a list of actionable insights that will result in improved Account level performance.
•Ensure compliance with Brand Standards at all times.
•Analyze and evaluate promotional effectiveness of sales and marketing programs that cost in excess of $10,000. Share results with all stakeholders.
•The Guardian of the Account. Ensure that the appropriate Account Network plan is in place to ensure that we have more than just buyer/seller contact in key accounts.
•Conduct twice annual business reviews with the Account.

REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience
•Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline.
•Minimum 6 years experience in Marketing, Trade Marketing or Sales negotiation.
•3+ years of account management with cross functional team experience.
•Exceptional analytical, communication, organizational and problem solving skills. Expert knowledge of how to interpret and use Syndicated Research data. (Nielsen)
•A thorough understanding of category management and its applications.
•Advanced computer skills especially in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
