.NET Developer Intern

Seeking an Undergraduate student pursuing a BBA in MIS. Must be willing to work in Austin, TX at a set predictable schedule at least 12 hours per week.Applicants for employment must possess valid work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa. Candidates may have to provide a written recommendation from one of their professors in that field of study.This is an entry-level general consulting support position. Provides support in a variety of development tasks including:
Resolve ASP .NET defect tickets.

Audit outdated defect tickets for the dev team and review report with manager to close out obsolete tickets.

Update operational support document for previously released product features.

Author an exceptions matrix for internal legacy applications in an effort to identify what exceptions are published to event logs to ensure operational relevancy and required information is present.

Audit test environment event logs to look for exceptions being thrown that aren’t meaningful and need to be revised to increase the operational integrity.

Monitor defect tickets coming into the development team for required level of detail such as reference to functional requirements document and appropriate details to reproduce the exception condition.Preferred Qualifications:

ASP .NET with C# code behind pages.

Visual Studio .NET 2003 experience.

.NET XML web service experience.
