Military Project Accountant

GMH Communities has over 1,700 employees at approximately 100 properties across 44 states throughout the United States.We currently have an opportunity for a Project Accountant for our Military Housing division located in Carlisle Barracks, PA.
Job Description:
Responsible for financial analyses of expenditures.
Monitor budgetary activity and provide management with accurate and timely information.
Prepare service agreements. Record job costs.
Assist in the processing of contract change orders through the direction of the project manager and corporate personnel.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Business Management
OR
Minimum of 8 years experience in construction field office with a strong background in accounting policies and proceduresExperience/Skills:
Sub-contractor billings.
AIA payment applications.
Lien waivers.
Affidavits of release and certified payroll.
Well-developed communication skills with emphasis on good analytical and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
Microsoft Project and Timberline experience preferred.
Experience with projects over 1 million dollars is preferred.
