Job Summary:
Primary responsibility for managing functions related to the preparation and review of monthly financial reports, assistance with updating forecasts, updating of the general ledger, and preparation of the annual budget.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manage staff of seven. Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate.
2. Assist in the preparation of annual departmental operating budgets, housing budget, capital asset budget, and cash flow budget.
3. Prepare and review schedules for monthly financial books.
4. Prepare monthly inter-company and recurring monthly journal entries for each entities general ledger. Analyze departmental monthly operating statements, balance sheets, and income statements for accuracy and completeness.
5. Ensure staff adherence to GAAP< internal controls, and company policies and procedures.
6. Assist and provide financial information to internal and external auditors. Respond to the audit reports as required.
7. Oversee and monitor the capital expenditure reporting process.
8. Oversee and monitor A/P and A/R.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum Bachelors degree in Accounting or equivalent in related field
2. CPA preferred
3. Minimum 4+ years accounting or finance experience
4. Strong knowledge of accounting theory and practice
5. Strong knowledge of financial reporting
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
