Merchandise Payable Lead Coordinator

General Summary: Act as a liaison between the expense supervisor and the AP coordinators in the resolution of problem invoices and/or vendors. Develop processes improvements and system enhancements. Learn systems and train new associates. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: (*Essential Functions) - Check printing, inclusive of voids, stop pays and positive pay file - Process wire transfer requests - Letter of Credit processing - Supply orders for AP department - Provide various reports requested by management - Cover for employees’ sick, personal and vacation days - Work with department heads within the company to communicate and resolve all outstanding issue pertaining to unmatched invoices (pricing issues, shortages etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
Job Specifications: (Knowledge, skills and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job.) Prior A/P experience is required with good employee and vendor relations. College degree is preferred but not required. Good attention to detail and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
