Medical Collections Specialist

The Job:
This position will have the overall responsibility for timely receipts of benefits assigned to Central Line Infusion. Our Collection Specialists are required to work in a timely manner and understand the importance that payments are made in full. We require that our Collection Specialists have basic knowledge of medical collections including billing and coding.

Qualifications:
Require a basic knowledge of medical collections and/or billing and coding.
A pharmacy collection background is a plus.
Basic Familiarity with medical terminology and coding.
Must have typing/data entry skills.
Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
A high level of self motivation and the ability to work under pressure.
Must be dependable in attendance and performance.
Must be able to work with direct and in-direct supervision.
Minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
