Marketing Strategist, Corporate Accounts

American Management Association, a worldwide leader in training, business solutions and mgmt. development, is seeking a Corporate Accounts Marketing Strategist for lead generation, management and sales force marketing support.
Essential Job Functions include:
Generate qualified leads for field sales and telesales through targeted marketing programs.
Initiate, execute and track the effectiveness of campaigns across all medias.Collaborate with internal resources, including telesales reps, trade show management, webcast services, database/list management, creative services, and IT to initiate, implement and track the effectiveness of campaigns.Campaigns include lead generation, cross-sell, up-sell, nurture · Retention · Internal marketing for clients · Research surveyWork with Marketing Director to develop strategic marketing plan.Within the strategic plan, develop and implement coordinated programs to identify likely prospects and convert/grow/manage the relationship utilizing targeted communications, integrated across direct mail, email, print advertising, trade shows and phone.Make certain that these efforts link with the new SFA tool.Work with e-mail Marketing Strategist to ensure that email campaigns meet business and regulatory requirements.Analyze database and outside lists to determine best segments and assess geographical and vertical industry penetration.Work closely with Conferences and Special Events Departments to produce and promote quarterly webcasts; pass and track leads.Work with the Marketing Director to prioritize campaigns and efficiently allocate resources and monitor metrics.Work closely with the SVP Sales to better understand their needs as well as those of prospects and clients. This will include making joint field sales calls and participating in the sales force bi-weekly status calls.Other related duties.
REQUIREMENTS


BS/BA required, graduate degree preferred.
5+ yrs B-to-B marketing experience.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent follow up skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with customer segmentation, email and web marketing.
Team player who shares knowledge across business units.
