Due to rapid growth, we are seeking Market Support Specialists in IL, TX, NY, CA and FL.JOB TITLE: Market Support Specialist (Auditor)REPORTS TO: VP of Operations
POSITION SCOPEThe Market Support Specialist identifies areas of opportunity within the company; must have complete knowledge of Empire’s business and be able to influence others to achieve the company’s goals and objectives by coaching and training to achieve operational excellence.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through local branch visits· Able to understand the concepts behind process improvement and measuring quality· Provide updates and make recommendations to Senior Management on a regular basis· Lead and participate in cross functional teams to develop process improvements and systems that will improve the overall operations· Provide guidance and feedback to General and Branch managers based on analysis of market performance as well as individual performance at all levels of the market organization· Work with local market staff and Management to identify areas of opportunities in the branch· Identify trends, anticipate and define problems and create proactive solutions related to the overall operation of the branch· Conducts training and carries out company programs according to implementation plans· Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
JOB REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.· Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Operations Management required, Masters is preferred· Minimum of 5 years of operations related experience in retail, consumer products or warehouse environment· Operational experience with facilities, warehousing, general office, technology and process background· Excellent facilitation skills, provide leadership in a business consulting role· Excellent time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills· Able to assist team members with other projects as needed· Experience with multiple location & multiple product businesses is a plus· Able to effectively & efficiently communicate (written & verbal) with various levels of management and demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times.
· Able to be flexible in a rapidly changing work environment· Able to work independently – self starter· Able to travel 75% of the time· Proficient computer skills with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project and Outlook
