Manager of Taxation
Primary Purpose
This position is the company-wide focal point for all tax related activities. This position is responsible for coordinating all tax planning, research and compliance for the corporation, both domestic and international, in an effort to minimize the tax burden of the company. A comprehensive knowledge of US tax law and regulations is required along with exceptional analytical skills due to the broad range of issues addressed by the incumbent.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for review all compliance filings for the company, coordination the preparation of tax related SEC information for the annual report, coordinate the completion of various foreign entity filings with outside consultants, review all sales tax filings, coordinate/manage all tax audits, evaluate and analyze various tax strategies and make recommendations to management, evaluates, analyzes and researches consequences of new tax laws for the company, develop strong interpersonal relationships with other key functional areas.

Education and Knowledge
Undergraduate degree in accounting with CPA.
5-7 years of accounting experience in tax preparation, planning and management.
Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and its relation to tax accounting.
Experience
Strong technical knowledge of tax law and its application.
Supervisory experience in the tax field with demonstrated track record of leadership and
achievement in prior work history.
Good public speaking and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate complex tax issues in a clear and concise manner to management.
