Manager of Special Projects/ Accounting Manager

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $90,000 to $120,000 per year Global Communications Company seeks a Manager of Special Projects to work with their Corporate Controllers Group and Financial Management Group. The Self-motivated individual will be responsible for the performance and review of their Purchase Accounting procedures in accordance with SFAS No. 141 related to business acquisitions, Identifying accounting and financial reporting issues for business acquisitions, including high risk reporting areas, project management related to purchase price accounting allocation procedures, preparation and review of quarterly journal entries, preparation of footnote disclosures related to these acquisitions for their SEC filings, and coordinate with outside auditors. Qualified candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, an Understanding of US GAAP and SFAS No 141, Accounting for Business Combinations, as well as 5+ years in Public Accounting.
