Manager of Revenue Accounting

Key Duties:

Coordinate & manage the month end closing process for passenger, charter, and express revenue
Review month-end revenue reporting schedules and provide variance explanations to Upper management
Coordinate & manage the Charter, Equipment Pool, and Express Audit/COD positions
Staff management recruiting, training, performance evaluation for Associates and Staff Accountants
Manage general ledger testing for Trips/Max system releases
Perform research, analysis, and special studies as requested by management
Review and monitor balance sheet account analyses

Experience, Education and Training:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
3 - 5 years experience in complex accounting environment encompassing the oversight of monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and detailed financial analysis
3-5 years of proven leadership skills managing exempt and non-exempt staff with the ability to plan and manage workflow
Large company experience with diverse culture and exposure to all levels of management
Excellent PC skills including advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access
Strong analytical skills
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
