Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis
Classification: Full Time Compensation: $90000 to $100000 per year Publicly traded, Software provider is seeking a Manage of Financial Planning and Analysis.
May include, but not limited to the following:Review the Company's P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement. Analyze financial statement variances after each closing. Explain auditor inquiries on variances.
Manage list of all company subsidiaries worldwide, including Interleaf companies. Including
each sub's directors, officers, office lease, bank accounts, accounting firms used with contacts, number of employees with their names, other key assets, targeted closed down dates, etc.
document and improve if necessary how each sub's books are maintained, closed (quarterly or annually), local authority filing requirements, etc.
Develop and oversee process and policy for purchase requisitions. Assign chart of accounts to each purchase order before it's issued for accounts payable coding purpose.
Responsible for all cash transactions, including process, policy, record, matching and follow-up for inter-company wire transfers.Responsible for coordinating all communication to the bank including maintaining current authorized signer lists and signing procedures for checks or wire transfers, researching cash transactions. Report balance weekly/monthly/quarterly or as needed by management.
Assist with bank recognition process.
Drive the monthly, quarterly, yearly and long-term financial objectives for the company through budgeting, forecasting and metrics processes.Provide analytical and reporting support to Controller, VP of Finance and CEO.
Develop and improve the infrastructure and processes to enable measurements of key business metrics Partner with the functional VP's and staff in the financial management of the Company's functional groups, including project financial management, financial performance tracking, and process improvement efforts.
Partner with Compensation concerning the corporate bonus and benefits. Oversee bonus and benefits accruals and accountingOversee all income/franchise tax issues, including all Federal and State tax filings and quarterly estimated tax payments and provisions for accounting.
Oversee and responsible for outsourcing of Sales Tax to third party vendor
Oversee company Investor Relations and stock programs including Annual Shareholder Meeting
Manage all office leases, Including whether space is use (if so, how many employees are there), sublet, or idle, quarterly rent, expenses, IT costs, and other fixed costs, total all-in fixed cost per employee user of that space, lease terms, sublet income (if any), excess expense, etc.)
Maintain weekly Headcount report.
Maintain the restructuring cost schedule and answer questions from the auditors.
Perform ad hoc analysis and assist the finance department in various accounting issues and special projects as assigned.
