Manager of Compliance

Gulf South Pipeline Company, LP is seeking a Manager of Compliance to work in our corporate office located in Houston, Texas. This position will be responsible for providing audit and consulting services to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of compliance and controls within Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP. The position should ensure that:

· Pipeline risks are appropriately identified, communicated and managed

· Controls are adequate and regularly monitored

· Actions of the organization are in compliance with policies, standards, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations

· Action items are properly monitored and communicated to senior management until adequate closure is achieved

The individual in this role will serve as subject matter expert for SOX requirements and internal accounting controls. There will be approximately 30%-40% travel required for this role, including trips to Owensboro, KY and possibly other locations.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, seasoned knowledge of internal accounting controls, SOX experience, and general audit experience with test design and audit work papers. This individual should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills, a logical approach to problem solving, the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
