Manager of Accounts Payable

D&H Distributing Company is an 88 year old employee owned national wholesale distributor. We offer an excellent benefits package including 80% employer paid health and dental insurances, 401k and ESOP retirement plans and much more.We are looking for an individual that has a proven track record of strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills to manage the day to day operations in a very fast paced, high volume A/P Department with very tight deadlines.The candidate will be responsible for the timeliness of the accounts payable process to meet check run deadlines and the monitoring of outstanding payables for payment. The candidate will also handle vendor inquiries and the supervision of other employees. The candidate must be able to handle a high volume work load in a deadline driven environment
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5 to 7 years accounts payable experience as well as five years managing at least 5 or more people, be detail oriented, have knowledge of general ledger, possess strong analytical skills, strong leadership and communication skills, have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and delegate, experience working with large volume accounts and an automated PO system, Debit Memo System knowledge of distribution, the ability to meet deadlines and a strong sense of urgency.
