Manager of Accounting

Classification: Full Time Compensation: Pay up to $85,000 per year Grow with an Expanding Software Development Company located in Center City! If you are a currently in an Accounting Management role or are a Senior Accountant with supervisory experience looking for a move in the right direction, this is an excellent Accounting Manager position for you. My client is looking for a hands-on leader who has practical knowledge of month end closes process who can also review and approve others work in regards to the balance sheet and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will also have 2 + years of audit experience in either public or private accounting. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: overseeing process; improving process and reviewing all monthly balance sheet account and bank reconciliations; understand, identify, and mitigate risk for all accounting processes and continue to look for ways to streamline the month-end accounting close process; monitoring journal entries and reports during month-end close process; provide support and reports to all applicable businesses on a monthly basis; work on ad hoc special projects and requests from various divisions within the entire organization; and directly supervise three senior financial analysts/senior accounts and oversee entire accounting staff.To be considered for this position please email resume to Jen Whitlock at
