Manager, Technical and Research Acct.

Purpose:
Our client, a large, multi-billion dollar company in Reston, is looking for several managers to join their team in a highly regarded advisory capacity.

Key Responsibilities: responsible for evaluating new accounting and regulatory standards; assist with the development and documentation of current accounting policies; assist with research of technical accounting issues; work directly with senior executives to provide accounting guidance regarding new accounting standards and regulatory standards; provide assistance in acquisition due diligence in accordance with evaluating accounting policy risks, reviewing agreements, participating in the accounting rulemaking process; support financial system integration efforts; collaborate with external auditors in terms of establishing accounting policies and best practices; provide accounting updates and training seminars to coworkers.

Minimum Qualifications: college degree; CPA required; 4-6 years minimum experience including national public accounting firm experience; strong familiarity with U.S. GAAP; team player with strong communication skills.Classification:Direct PlacementCompensation:
