Manager- Program Management

Experienced Program Manager with high profile and/or
multi-million dollar account responsibility. Responsible for program
management of multiple client accounts. Manages, tracks, monitors and
communicates internally and externally; develops lists of tasks and a
schedules that will meet the needs of the clients; facilitates completion
of projects on time and within budget. This position manages multiple,
simultaneous projects and clients, and coordinates internal and external
resources for those projects and clients. This person analyzes problems
and develops solutions to those problems, while maintaining volatile
schedules and communicating changes to all concerned. Bachelor’s degree,
technical preferred, or equivalent experience; a working knowledge of
company products and services is a plus; the ability to organize teams for
specific projects, prioritize demanding/competing deadlines, work
independently, and have excellent communication skills.Key Job
Responsibilities
Strategy/Account Planning
Provide input to account manager for the annual account planning strategy
for each client in portfolioLeadership/management (client)
Communicate with key client representatives in portfolio
Develop staff
Hire new staff as necessary
Manage and allocate workload and accounts
Troubleshooting major issues
Provide solutions
Manage client projects (external)
Participate in and provide feedback for the contract renewal process
Provide input for and participate in quarterly reviews with clients in
portfolioOperations
Lead kick-off for new/existing client programs
Manage new releases for client programs
Manage UTD conversion projects
Liaise with service manager assigned to accounts
Support sales representatives when assistance is needed in the sales
process
Visit call center a minimum of once per month (supplemental training,
performance reviews)Revenues/Profitability
Participate in contract reviews with team members to ensure account
support services are consistent with
contract terms
Partner with sales organization to coordinate support needed by BDMs
throughout the sales process
Manage expenses, execute plan provided by managerExperience in managing high profile and/or multi-million dollar accounts
Experience dealing directly with clients
Manage multiple, simultaneous projects and clients
Coordinate internal/external resources and clients
Analyze problems and develop solutions
Talk directly with clients about their needs
Ability to set and manage client expectations
Maintain volatile schedules and communicate changes
Work independently and under pressure while meeting schedules and tight
deadlines
Experience with project management software
Collaborate with Account Manager on statements of work and billing for
clients
Ability to travel
Develop working knowledge of Thomson Prometric products and services
Ability to organize teams to work on specific projects
Ability to prioritize demanding/competing deadlines
REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor degree, technical preferred, or equivalent
experience
Management or supervisory experience a plus
Experience in testing and/or certification industry is a plus
