PPL EnergyPlus has challenging career opportunities for a portfolio and Pricing manager at its facility in Butte, Mont.
The primary purpose of this position is to optimize the value of the Western portfolio, including generation, transmission entitlements and purchased power. Other duties include, but are not limited to, setting/influencing policy toward ongoing Western market ruled developments; applying the risk management policy, credit management process, mark-to-market process, portfolio management techniques and hedging strategies to manage the portfolio effectively; and modeling and value in complex energy transactions.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in technical or business-related discipline; five years’ experience in wholesale energy trading electricity business opportunities, and finance, including emphasis on risk measurement, analysis and management; and background in portfolio theory, risk management, option pricing or related field for pricing.

PPL EnergyPlus has challenging career opportunities for a Risk and Pricing Analyst at its facility in Butte, Mont.
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Portfolio and Pricing manager with development and implementation of the Risk Management Program, mark-to-market process, daily reporting and transaction pricing. Other duties include, but are not limited to, performing financial analysis and modeling at the transaction and portfolio levels; interacting with personnel from trading, wholesale and retail marketing, credit, contract and accounting departments; and providing analytical support to all functional areas as needed.
Minimum qualification include a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field; and background in portfolio theory, risk management, option pricing or related field for pricing.
